It's so funny how people are in denial about the lack of good games available for PS5, and the few that ARE good are 70 dollars.

I spent 500 dollars to f***ing buy a PS5 top of the line, and then when I set it up, turns out there's NOTHING TO PLAY. And the few games again that are out are highly overpriced. Maybe I wanna play some Madden right...70 dollars. Or Chel...70 dollars. Who is paying that much for that shit every year?

Why do you think I got the f***ing EA Play Pro package for PC? So I can play one set price and dl all the f***ing games I want. Hmm, maybe something exists like that on consoles. OH WAIT IT DOESN'T. SO YOU HAVE TO PAY 70 DOLLARS EACH FOR MADDEN, NHL, FIFA and so on

Also happens on PC too every time I open up EA App and play Madden the f***ing POS starts downloading FIFA updates or Apex LEgends updates which slow down the entire game. I had to tell it to stop downloading when I'm in game, or else I'd never be able to play. And also Apex is a game I almost NEVER play yet continues to automatically update and slow down my entire rig it's ridiculous

It's true for ps4 but this is ps5->pc we're talking about. At least FIFA makes no excuses and puts in cross play and at least some of the hypermotion engine (not sure how much of pc is same as next gen)

I'm going to go full asshole mode here but it's a video game. The object of a game is to have fun. If you think graphics are more important than gameplay, you're basically saying that porn is preferable to an actual real-life partner.

EDIT: To clarify, if visuals/sounds/etc strongly negatively impact the actual gaming experience, that's a little bit different.

2042 is so f***ed up but the worst problems are me not even being able to run ultra with a tricked out computer due to FPS issues (not my PC, it's the f***ing game), and even if the game works, 1) the damn thing won't load the FIRST time on PC meaning you have to close it and relaunch just to play and 2) even if you DO get in the f***ing SBMM makes it so the servers change at the end of every round. The state of FPS is so bad right now that I have to routinely play BFV (which is JUST as bad, but more stable...the devs just said f*** it and took out mapvote so you play the same cycle of maps over and over without the community being able to select the next map...IN THE END OF BF1 YOU WERE EVEN TOLD TO SELECT A NEW MAP AT THE END OF THE ROUND, AND EVERYONE VOTED. IT WAS PART OF THE GAME, IT WASN'T AN ADD ON MOD. AND EVERYONE LOVED IT. HOW DO YOU NOT CARRY THAT OVER.)

Geeks online update the rosters and shit, so that's not a huge issue.

The problem is old hockey games that don't have the skill stick. They are damn near unplayable when it's just 3 buttons for pass, shoot, and hit.

NHL Hitz 2003 was an awesome game, but it plays like garbage when you're used to a far better control scheme.

With no aiming your shot, scoring is basically RNG bullshit, which is absolutely not fun to play.

you can't even aim properly with the right stick. i would prefer only having to wind up and shoot. Also use right stick to deke. The aiming with the riht stick was always off. I'm already trying to deke and spin, I don't have time to aim my shot. do that automatically
