exactly. this is scumbag behavior and EVEN WORSE with the PS5 as demand was SO LIMITED that these assholes just scalped them and sold them for a higher markup. The same with the f***ing video cards. The 4080 dropped a few days ago and it's ALREADY at 1000 MSRP. Now imagine that on ebay.

Sony's done this kind of shit before but I kind of feel it was worse with the PS5 for some reason, though I don't game anymore so I could be wrong on that front.

It's one thing if you legitimately cannot meet demand but am trying to do so, Sony likes to intentionally withhold product and ship far less than they are capable in order to artificially increase demand. From my angle, unless you're dying for PS5 exclusives, why put up with their bullshit?

This was the PS3's issue, you paid $600 at launch and there was almost nothing worth playing on it for seemingly forever. It improved later on obviously, but at launch there was f***ing nothing.

I remember when I first bought a PS2, I ended up just playing my PS1 games until I could afford any PS2 games.

Just comparing the PS2 to the original Xbox, it's no surprise that the 360 f***ing murdered the PS3. The original Xbox still did a bunch of things better than the PS3, such as online.

I'm going to say it: I actually have more recently played my PS2 than my PS3 (granted it was a few years but w/e.) PS1 and PS2...eventually, the games spoke for themselves. Key word being eventually, of course.

Perfect example, the PS3/360 era is when almost all of the sports games turned to shit. They had to remake everything from the ground up, so they just cut out all the cool shit that made the old games interesting and never put it back in.

It's so funny how people are in denial about the lack of good games available for PS5, and the few that ARE good are 70 dollars.

I spent 500 dollars to f***ing buy a PS5 top of the line, and then when I set it up, turns out there's NOTHING TO PLAY. And the few games again that are out are highly overpriced. Maybe I wanna play some Madden right...70 dollars. Or Chel...70 dollars. Who is paying that much for that shit every year?
