Whilst some people complain that getting rid of Skynet and replacing it with Legion is a plot contrivance, it really isn’t.

When it comes to Artificial Intelligence, we as humans will keep trying to perfect it and at some point we will succeed.

What the Terminator movies are suggesting is that whatever AI we develop, will always at some point realise that humans are the problem and seek to kill us, which is why it doesn’t matter if its Skynet or Legion that is the AI in question.

That's a reasonable explanation, but it still goes against the ending of T2, where all of the technology from the future gets destroyed, effectively preventing judgement day.

To make that explanation more reasonable, they should just say there's been a new breakthrough in nanotechnology, or whatever Hollywood bullshit to not confuse the idiots.

Literally show Jesse Eisenberg, or some other generic geek, make his discovery, then show terminators arriving from the future at exactly the same time.

(I also like my idea that they prevented judgement day, but the concept of it still lived on in John and Sarah's heads. Leading into John trying to warn someone about judgement day, but someone evil hears about it and tries to make it happen.)

Rocky IV has high ratings because people are rating it ironically. People saying shit like "This makes me proud to be an American" in their supposed review.

No one can set nostalgia aside, watch that movie, and honestly say that's it good. At best, there are a few good scenes, but they are dwarfed by Stallone's bad acting and the lifeless script

He's a good coach, but the team isn't meeting their expectations because he's not good enough to take the team over the hump.
