I still remember the first time I saw Braveheart (1996) in it's entirety a few months ago, before then I had only seen segments and snippets (someone in HS when we were watching just fast forwarded to the end where he gets tortured)

That theme is played throughout the movie, it is so good :(

And of course @Siamese Dream is going to complain about how the English didn't really demand Scottish women like that as tribute or how the king longshanks didn't kick his son out a window like Brann Wyatt or whatever that Stark was

The bait and switch isn't awful, but the movie was underwhelming and that revelation made me annoyed more than intrigued.

Throwing away the first half of the movie didn't make the second half any better, it just felt like wasted time

Gladiator is on Prime.

Might re-watch.

I'm not Tartan Army or Scottish but watching Braveheart (1996) made me cry and made me filled with rage at England

"that's what the propaganda is supposed to do!"

Iron Man 2 was better. People focus too much on Mickey Rourke's stupid whips, when the drone fight is better than anything in 3.

The actual villain in IM3, his super power is... breathing fire? How is that any better?

Iron Man 3 is shit because of the stupid f***ing kid.

No movie has ever been improved by the addition of a kid that can't act for shit.

Mummy 2 was f***ing garbage, probably because they added a stupid f***ing kid.

What a stupid ass scene.

That kid is not too young to understand "if you make noise, you die", yet he almost gets his entire family murdered because he wanted to play with a f***ing toy.

f***, just have him trip and cry about a skinned knee if you want me to think something other than "Everyone in this scene is stupid"

Naturally, the day I finally realize that my shit code is causing issues is the day that someone at the manufacturer calls me and offers help

And I'm back to being really f***ing confused because the input I give to the program is not lining up with what the program is telling me.

I thought the program was not reading data every cycle, but no, I give it good data and it finds some way to mangle it.

I'm looking at the line-to-line difference of the data I'm sending. My input is a smooth curve with a few little hiccups. The program shows a garbled mess that looks more like an EKG than usable data.

Like what the f*** is going on here

To dumb it down for @John Price, all of those spikes on the bottom graph are the problem.

A delta of zero means the program received the same data on two consecutive cycles. A delta that's twice of what's expected means the program missed a data read.

However, I put a bunch of flags into every place where my code can fail, yet none of the flags trip.

Hopefully Mr. Price can help solve this for you!

The amplitude of the oscillations is roughly proportional to the deviation of the trendline from 0. Is there a scale factor or calibration issue?
