I'm like my Touring Outback, I see no need to spend twice as much for a BMW X3 and be one of those jabronis buying the cheapest luxury car

I'm a big time audi fanboy. I haven't owned one for a while because the last one I had financially crippled me in a time when i really couldn't afford it.

But yes, euro cars are spectacular pieces of engineering. In literally all cases they f***ing suck to work on and they're expensive as shit both because they can be and because they are a legit PITA to work on. The quality of the cars is actually also kinda shitty. Nobody builds them like the Japanese, but something about those euro cars just feel a lot better.

They literally all suck, though.
Yeah but most Japanese cars are f***ing boring lmao (I say this as someone who dailies a WRX, so not all of them, but most of them.)

If I could have any two vehicles within a semi-reasonable price range, I'd have something Japanese for a reliable and/or winter vehicle (like a Japanese-made 4Runner or Tacoma or something) and something absolutely f***ing impractical, flashy and sex-appeal-y that makes my bollocks tingle for a summer car.

If money weren't an object, I could get that list of cars up to at least 20 very easily. Thankfully I'm frugal because I love cars and would be completely broke if I didn't have discipline here.

it is

HR departments just scour through that crap

i applied this morning for a job and i got a rejection email like 5 hours later, right around 9 am WHEN HUMANS REPORT TO WORK

Maybe it requires a human to start the process, but the process is automated up to a certain point.

"No portfolio? No relevant experience? No job history? Auto reject."

Talking heads on ESPN saying the Iggles are the 3rd best team in the league.

Why? Who have they beat to deserve that ranking? Beating a bottom 10 team and a middle of the pack team don't make you #3 in the league

He's applying for what seems to be jobs receiving tons of applicants, so yeah there's definitely a first level filter.
i'll bombard them with applications i dont' care

hobby now is applying again to positions that rejected, if they did so unfairly

"oh we see you don't have that"

WELL I DO

Even if you get past the automated filters, they have assessment tests and in person interviews.

What's your end goal, to fool someone into giving you a job?

I've heard from people who work in recruitment that when they receive a high volume of applications they just pick out the first however many "suitable" applications they come across to forward for interviews, and the rest go in the bin and never get read, and sent a template rejection email if anything at all. They don't trawl through all of them and pick out the best ones.

This is what I'd really like as a daily driver: 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 Sedan | Future Vehicles

Not sure I can swallow the cost though. I found a 2018 locally that as listed @ 42k w/ 56k miles. I'd probably do it if one was 35k.
