Yeah, I didn't know the names of any of the people from Blur at that point, like I informed you recently until I saw the "Trash Theory" video about them I didn't even know Gorillaz were founded by the Blur frontman.

I'm generally not very good with the names of people from bands, especially older ones. I often get them all mixed up, recently while playing Football Manager I had a youth player called Keith Richards and I had to google which music band he was from just to be sure because I definitely knew the name but I was like is it someone from Queen? Don't even start with the frontmen of grunge bands who are all dead, I know the names but can never remember which is which.

I consider myself someone who is "interested" in music and I listen to a wide range of stuff and like to get really into it but for some reason I really struggle with the names apart from the obvious frontpersons.

I can do a sporcle quiz and name like 200 characters from the Game of Thrones books, but I can't name that many band frontpersons let alone drummers and shit

The only drummers I know by name are like Ringo Starr, Travis Barker, Lars Ulrich and Nirvana era Dave Grohl

Even guitarists I struggle with to learn the names

I have recently been enjoying her "Very modern quests" podcast on audible, which includes an episode with Simon from The Inbetweeners

The best episode by far though was the one with Joe Lycett where he had to co-ordinate a Stag-do and he said they were going to Coventry and dressing the groom up as what the cathedral looked like before WW2 and by the end of the night the costume would be like what it looks like now after the city was bombed because of how f***ed up he would get

Watching the Taskmasters in one go was an interesting experience, not knowing who half of the people were. I still have no idea who Alice Levine is but I'm pretty sure I'd be content in life if she just periodically walked into rooms I'm in and called me feminine names.

I didn't know who she was either, after having seen her on Would I Lie to You? I remember having to ask someone what are her credentials but now I know she's from the radio or something
