so sad what happened to the BF franchise because BF1942-4 were games you could just spend hours being lost in, grinding happily

if you had like rank 120 or something you did good. you spent like 140 hours in that game or more, and it was all worth it

all got worse after 4. that said being able to buy tanks in bfv was so needed. i still remember iwo jima where i would just bring in the fire tank and we would just camp the tunnel entrance to the objective as people were trying to defend it. UNLEASH FIRE AND FURY!

levelution was so trendsetting at the time. Be fighting in Shanghai and when the tower went down shit went down

I still remember you had to put C4 on the base to trigger the levelution but some other maps like Lancang Dam had a flood you could trigger by c4'ing the damn

Also Flood Zone where the streets are normal until you blow up the sides of the dam

It's pretty shitty when geeks rush to trigger the levelution as quick as possible, making the map worse in the process.
