Peacefully driving home from the train station and stop at an intersection.

Light turns green and slowly accelerate through when some dolt f***ing rushes by in his car and stops in the middle of the f***ing intersection. And he has a red light.

f***ing scared the f*** out of me. And right in front of me.

Had to swerve and slowly drive by. And then as I looked in the rearview mirror this cop car turns its lights on, uturns and presumably goes to reprimand that driver

Why would you try to f***ing speed past a red light like that and also slam the brakes RIGHT in the middle of the intersection

if you see it's red just stop

maybe if it was yellow for you you could have sped by, or even some leeway on a short yellow-red transition

but it was full green for like 3 seconds before this car strolls by

Oh, would you look at that, they didn't pick up the recycling on my street yesterday, despite their schedule proclaiming that pickups aren't delayed this week.

And to add to the bullshit, it looks like they picked up for other streets in our neighborhood, just not ours.

What's there to even say, their incompetence speaks for itself.

Similar thing happened on my way to work this morning.

I have a green light, so I start going straight through the intersection.

This dickhead making a right decided he wasn't going to stop at his red light and pulls right in front of me.

I restrained myself from doing anything regrettable, but god damn it if their complete disregard didn't make me absolutely furious.

I honestly can't believe Chromebooks haven't gone the way of the netbook

It's just money laundering at this point.

The Mx chips Mac has put out are actual game changers. I assume a lot more laptops are going to ship with RISC chips and have extensive battery life and ridiculously good "normal" performance benchmarks.

They really lifted the bar with their native app integration but also their translation layer for normal x86 instruction programs. I literally can't tell what I'm working on. Even docker containers built with x86 types work flawlessly. It's so wild.

This could all be resolved if they sold a replacement battery for my Vaio Z Cavnas.

Instead it's become a fixture, chained to it's power supply, at my work desk.

Thankfully I noticed the battery bulging, otherwise it would have cracked the screen and truly became worthless.
