1 year ago (edited) As an Englishman I'm amazed the US (or the individual States) don't legalise it and tax it. The British Govt. makes a fortune from its gambling taxes. You can bet on anything within reason in the UK (the bookies' odds on general elections are usually more reliable than the polls) either on the course or in a bookies shop.

Got it the other day and cleaned the whole thing before running a few clean cycles. Well, it starts brewing, then stops 15-30 seconds later with 5 beeps.

Trying to Google information about this is absolutely useless because any article talking about the 5 beeps only suggests the most cursory and obvious shit.

Yes, there's water in it. Yes, the brew basket is inserted. Yes, the basket is open so water can flow through. No, you have not answered my question of why the coffee maker starts brewing and then stops 15 seconds later.
