Instagram is starting to piss me off every f***ing reel is about the shooting and I have to expend resources to block or click "do not show me any more posts" from this person. So now you want to keep showing me recent reels that "blow up" after sending me reels from 16 weeks or so ago which were not current. Who the f*** is in charge of showing reels and relevant information on IG because they're doing a really shitty job.

Yeah, everyone ditched legacy media for social media apps but those apps just repeat the same f***ING shit over and over. Not sure how tiktok displays reels but if we depend now on social media and reels to get our news I fear for our future as a society.

It's not that too. The reels always shove in trends to the point that you get annoyed and say "Yeah I get it Tommy Richman is a thing / The Korean cheerleader did the dance"

I mean IG is good to get exposure to new up and coming people and influencers, there are a lot of good ones on there for gambling and cooking, but holy shit the amount of brain rot on that app, the amount of repetititve sheep accounts and poor memes and desperation for follows, it's so cringe

Yep 100% agreed. Is what it is though. I did say to her that I’m not married to my career and my career doesn’t define who I am. So maybe that rustled her feathers a bit lol.
