I think Canada's 14 first round forwards may have something to say about this.

US has equal depth while having better elite talent. Canada doesn’t have the level of Zegras, Caufield, and Turcotte. I don’t think we have a Sanderson level of player on D either. Goalie is a saw-off.
The Americans are getting better every game. They are building. I don’t think we can match that.
