Unpopular Wrestling Opinions

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

So you think it's fair a men's rumble leads to a wrestlemania title shot and a women's would leaf to a summer slam? why not just have wwe put up a sign telling everyone the women don't matter as much

I get the men are a bigger draw, but they need to keep things as even as possible.

I don't think it's disrespectful to the women at all Summerslam is a huge show it's not like I'm suggesting the match take place at battleground or backlash.

I simply don't like 2 rumbles on one night and I'm also not a big fan of splitting shows into 2 nights.

So one Rumble leads to Wrestlemania, the other leads to Summerslam.

And since the Men's Rumble was around for 30 years before we got a women's rumble they keep the Royal Rumble show.

I'm not suggesting take women off Wrestlemania I'm just suggesting 2 rumbles in 1 night is to much.

TNA going to a six-sided ring was one of the stupidest decisions in wrestling history, killed any momentum the company had and set them back by a decade.

JBL deserves way more credit for his heel run than he gets. In the middle or the Ruthless Aggression Era instead of pushing the boundaries to get heat the man went out and just did a straight forward classic territory style heel and drew insane levels of heat
If you're talking about that phase where he was the longest reigning World Champ in SmackDown history then yes. It was very surreal to me. Compared to his APA days, it was a complete 180 character wise. Couldn't even believe it was the same guy.

Yup, the early 00s title run. It's crazy he made a simple "I'm successful and you're all failures and beneath me" draw so much heat. Especially in the time of the internet and smarks

Feuding Wrestlers costing each other titles makes no sense.

I recently watched WWF in your house Beware of Dog and that show ended with Undertaker VS Gold Dust in a casket match for the intercontinental championship.

That match ends with Mankind costing the Undertaker the match and allowing Gold Dust to retain the intercontinental title.

And I thought about it, and that makes no sense.

What would make more sense would have been for Mankind to help Taker win the intercontinental championship.

That way would have ensured a title shot for himself at say Summerslam.

CM Punk did the same thing when he was Feuding with Drew, Punk said as long as he was breathing Drew would never be champion, Why? if Drew was Champion Puck VS Drew would have been for the Championship, why was Punk not trying to ensure Drew won the Championship?

A perfect example of this would be March 17th 1997 Main Event Physco Sid VS Bret Hart for WWF Championship inside a steel cage.

During the match BOTH Undertaker AND Austin come out to help their Wrestlemania opponent win the WWF Championship so that their match at Wrestlemania is for the WWF championship.

And that makes sense because why WOULDN'T Austin and Taker want their Match at Wrestlemania to be for the WWF Championship? of course they do.

So when I see Mankind costing the Undertaker the intercontinental championship, or CM Punk going out of his way to cost Drew the World Heavyweight Championship on multiple occasions it makes no sense.

I'm not saying they should have done this, I'm just saying surprised WWE didn't do this especially when Vince was in charge.

I'm surprised Owen is not in the WWE Hall of fame.

And I know the response will "Well his wife wouldn't allow it."

Here is the thing She can get as mad as she wants she can't actually do anything about it.

If they wanted to do it they could there is NOTHING she could do to stop them.

And knowing that is the case.

And knowing that Vince McMahon does not give a single f*** about People's feelings all I need to do to prove that is point to the interview with Brian Pillman's wife the night after Bad Blood, that is the 2nd worst segment in RAW History.

I'm surprised Vince didn't do it just because he could, Owen wasn't kept out of the Hall of fame because of compassion for Owen widow, I assure you he did not now care about Martha Hart.
