I don't think Hall-Krejci-Pastrnak line is going to do well as we hope. I think it's too one-dimensional in terms of not having enough grit. There's nobody to dig out loose pucks, there's nobody setting screens or creating turnovers, there's no heavy forechecker...

Positive: With new, and hopefully improved coaching of the PP, Charlie McAvoy scores 65-70 points and is a firmly a Norris finalist

Negative: Brad Marchand will be a shell of his former self. He'll still be a good player, but nowhere near the star he's been and Taylor Hall will take over as the #1 LW on the team.

Random: We trade for Nick Bonino at the deadline for some reason.

Positive: Marc McLaughlin establishes himself in the bottom 6 and tallies a sneaky 9-10 goals. Kid's got something about him and I really hope he can turn that something into consistent performance at this level.

Negative: One of Marchand or Krejci is no longer the player they once were and struggles to have a big impact. This is one of my main fears for the season and I think the odds on it are better than we would like.
