We haven’t been a good team at home all this year. Now we go to the road. That’s a positive. Problem is we have home ice.

Shit. Sorry y'all, just finished watching and that was disappointing. A bit of a push those last three minutes, but no real urgency all night long. Maybe being on the road is what they need to remind them they are in the playoffs.

I was going to predict a big game for for PLD before the game. Glad I didn't, he looked all kinds of lazy and gutless tonight. Way too many times he was out muscled for the puck by smaller players.

See you all for game three Sunday, hopefully something changes with the game planning or between their ears.

Agree with you totally. If he's not playing with a serious groin injury, like I think he may be, we've made a bad deal, although Laine played the same uninspired hockey.

From what I read he was very explosive and dominant in Columbus, so I hope we get to see that. Right now, if you see what you get, we didn't get much. Maybe he needs a guy like Torts to kick his ass ??

I hope he's injured, and we see a greatly improved PLD ?? - we'll see next season.

If the Jets were down 2-0 to the Avs then I would be worried but its the Habs and they play for a lucky bounce and have been getting them lately.
Jets have a great road record and Habs luck will run out ... they are not a good enough team to win 7 straight games in the playoffs.

I mean, they tried, I guess, for parts of the game. Brutal hockey, brutal game, brutal series overall.

That KFC flyby for the GWG was one of the weakest PO defensive plays I’ve seen in a long time, even for him. That’s benchworthy stuff.

MP was a buzzsaw here and there. Ehlers looks hurt. Harkins and Ves and skated but their confidence looked shot, and why not, they haven’t played enough to plausibly have any at this point, especially in terms of offence. The lineup choices were just weird; no looked like they were playing in the right spots on the right lines — but this is kind of what the PoMo deployment and system of trying not to lose gets you. Plonk and JMo did what they could. PLD woke briefly to miss the net. Otherwise this team look checked out.

Maybe we get another Churchillian masterpiece from PoMo to rally the troops for Game 3, but I’m not sure it makes any difference now because I’m not sure how much they really want to win this. I actually dozed off during that last PP and I’m now weighing mowing the lawn during the next one.

Yeesh. Maybe going on the road will provide that rocket boost.

Honestly, this is getting silly -
His check hit the brakes and he missed - but at least he came back. Are the guys that didn't bother also bench worthy? Why stop there - there's lots of opportunity

I don't like calling down any Jet player everybody makes mistakes but tonight Wheeler really ticked me off.

For those thinking this is a “god like” Price that has us down 2-0 they are watching a different game than me. Jets cannot get to the net, the Jets are not dangerous, the Jets seem like they lack any urgency at all.
