We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.
What This Means for You:
- If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
- If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
- Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
- Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I thought it would be close…but never in my wildest imagination think they would lose. Stunned.

They faced some good goalies obviously…but the scoring dried up the last couple games…and they weren’t as tight defensively as we have come accustomed to seeing this time of year.

Having said that…they completely let that one slip away.
But, you get to the dance that many times, you are going to suffer some heartbreak once in awhile.
It doesn’t help when you seldom face adversity and steamroll the conference … should be an “interesting” summer. This one hurts a little extra with all the uncertainty
Ottawa had month to prep for UNB and it showed. Keep them to outside and mostly in front of them. 2 hour delay and ice hurt UNB but Ottawa did not mentally beat themselves like other teams and in OT , Ottawa heart took over and was better team

I only remember UNB having one odd-man rush….a 2-on-1 in the 1st period that was broken up by the defenseman.

Both teams had a delay and both teams played on the same ice. I get that bad ice can affect a good team, but if you're that good, you can overcome it.

That's the downside of UNB being too strong for AUS—they haven't often had to play close games in their division.

Kinda why I was surprised they didn’t bring in a top out of conference team for a game over Christmas. Maybe they tried I guess, just couldn’t make it work?
