GDT: 2024-25 season game 68 LA Kings vs Carolina Hurricanes @1:00pm 3/22/25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Sure when you cut the clip off right after Jim VERY not chucklingly says "I'm kind of chuckling about it" but come on. Does anybody really believe that Jim Fox a guy who's emotions bleed through and who's career was cut short by injury is actually LAUGHING at an injured player?

Nah.
Yah that was my point, that if you dont know Jim, you could infer some level of wrong vibe

Jim is usually the most sympathetic guy out there, but he f-d up a bit on this one. Edit: realtime I heard it and didnt think anything of it because I know him as a telecaster.. but I can see how it could be taken

Pretty mild comment. I remember when Bob Miller was joking about a Red Wings fan up in the rafters and saying if he fell on the ice, it would be too many men on the Red Wings.

He plays a well rounded game, the Kings have done a good job developing him into that (thats not a problem for the Kings), he's not Patrice Bergeron, but he's a good defensive player.

But to be an elite center in the NHL he is going to have to produce a lot more offensively over a full season than he has, it's tough to use the words "55 point scorer" and "elite" in the same sentence.

I don't know about the rest of everyone but this team has looked way better since Lewis went out of the lineup and Doughty came back. Still not a championship team but definitely better
Amazing what having a legit 4th line does does for the entire team. Getting very good minutes from them. Before yesterday, that line was averaging nine hits in the last seven games.

That is much needed in a playoff series.
