Reds seem to be in a mini goal drought. Will be interesting to see how they perform against Les Aigles who are coming off a loss against Dal.

Wonder if Moncton gives Darveau the start? He has the better numbers so far this year, but Adam has gotten the start in the first two meetings.

Darveau started the preseason game @ Tracadie, stopped 49/51 in the shootout loss, then started again on Oct 11 @ Moncton, played 13 minutes and got the hook.

Adam started @ UNB on Oct 30 and played quite well, lost 5-2 but in the last minute there were 2 goals against which made the final appear wider than the game was. It was 2-2 with 8 minutes to play

Yes, thank you for the correction. I thought Adam started the 8-2 game and then Darveau relieved him…I had it backwards.

Just got tickets for the game tonight and there isn't many left...I expect it will be a sell-out. Having said that, given it is an Elementary School game I expect a "sell-out" to mean the rink is 2/3 full.

Yes, he received an automatic one-game suspension.

I really enjoyed the few years they played a 4 team tournament over the break. I doubt it ever comes back but once can wish.

He got hurt against Acadia . Pretty sure he’ll be back Friday . I assume they will go 5 D Friday night with McGinley out but will be interesting to see who plays Saturday if everyone is available.

UNB did good to limit Acadia to just 14 shots while playing with just 4 Dmen 99% of the game. Richard probably had his worst game for the Reds. Hope Savoie is okay to go tomorrow.

I suppose, on the bright side, they have a month off after tomorrow, which I think might be coming at a good time for UNB. They need to remove the banners that are low and blocking the view, it's gotten ridiculous.
If you sit up high in the corners, you can't see the the press box and a big part of the seating on the opposite side.
The National championship banners are fine, not talking about them.

Out of the 15 highest scoring overage defenceman last year - 12 went pro + two went U SPORTS (Lajoie to Alberta + Truchon to McGill) + one I don't know if he playing anywhere (former 3rd round NHL pick Jeremy Langlois, who had 62 points with Rouyn Noranda last season). I haven't checked up on any of the guys who went pro to see how they are making out...but maybe a few decide to go the university route.
