go read the tweets from yesterday. He’ll be in there soon. Not here to watch. My guess is couple practices and he’ll be in like kravtsov

Yep. And the contract kicks in anyway. Even if he doesn't play a single game, his contract counts for this season. Might as well give him a few games

He is already here. I still see very little that shows that he is getting thrown into the starting line up as a starter in the midst of a playoff race.

Not saying that will not happen. But I cannot see Quinn simply installing him into the starting 6 as a defenseman in the midst of a playoff race. Kravstov at least could be moved around the starting line up. Not so much on starting defense.

Well, he's certainly not playing tonight. Quinn will want him to get at least a couple practices in first. If he's totally not ready for this level, then maybe he doesn't play at all, but I have to think they believe he is close enough to ready that they can put him into a game. Otherwise they could have just sent him to Hartford.

he is already with the team...but don't be surprised if they have him practice for a week and then play the final 10 games

Maybe. You may well be right. I am just having a hard time seeing Quinn insert a kid straight from college onto the third pair with the belief that he would be instantly better than Hajek (as I certainly hope he is).

If you say so. I see nothing to indicate that he is going in any time soon. Not if Hajek is playing at a "decent" level and the team is having on ice success. But as I am not in the room where it happens, we shall see. It is not like I am opposed to it.

Mollie Walker tweeted yesterday that Jones' camp wasn't sure when or if he'd get in this year.

Again, I've seen conflicting things about him getting in. I think he will before the season is over but maybe not a for a couple weeks. Or if we divebomb, once we're really kind of out of the playoff picture.

The only thing I know for certain is that the more games that go by without him getting in, the more people will bitch about Quinn keeping him out.

disagree. We’re still in the playoff hunt. He cannot be a liability. This isn’t a Kravtsov situation where you feel pretty confident he’ll make some noise. This is a total rookie defenseman who has no experience playijg against grown men, let alone the NHL, in a playoffs hunt.

I didn't say that the complaints would be reasonable, just that they would happen.
