Bob Manno went by the nickname 'The Troll' when a Canuck.
Later in his NHL career with the Red Wings, he centered a checking line that became known as the 'Troll Line.'

A 2nd round pick who was a great skater, had good offensive instincts, and could mix it up a little bit.
He put up 50 points as 24 yr old d-man with the Leafs, and represented them in the '82 All Star game that same season. He was released that same off season.

Not necessarily a bad looking guy...just looked like a guy that you might be scared to find living under a bridge.
