Love Perez +170

Feel like this is a huge jump for Taira- typically when there’s this much of a gap in high level experience and the seasoned guy isn’t washed up the seasoned guy comes out on top

If Taira wins he's not far from the belt

Missed most of this card as I’m working, will likely get to see most of the main event. Doesn’t sound like I’ve missed much

Perez won the 1st on the judges cards. Was shaping up to be a competitive fight but that was nifty by Taira, don’t know how intentional it was but he put a lot of weight on the right knee of Perez

To me it looked like Perez was defending well and Taira was just trying to get it back on the floor. I don't think he had any intention of targeting the knee for any purpose other than to limit his mobility/trip him up and get him on the mat. Perez looked good and I was surprised at how much the commentators were glazing Taira when I thought Perez clearly won the first.
