At the U18 level I'm not really concerned about the defensive side. I wouldn't be surprised if Laine does end up a rather one-dimensional goal-scorer. Which is fine, Finland sorely lacks pure goal scorers. The Finnish scoring leaders in the NHL this season had 12 goals...

True. I think last "one way" players we had were Teemu and OJ (at their first half of NHL careers).
