DONNIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I think he might have had a lingering issue that just came to a boiling point. His play regressed a bit and he didn't look like himself.

Had the same though myself, and posted in the injury thread before I saw this. Think it might be right. Glad we got Bert either way. I love that guy.

Hard to love a trade more than the Orlov/Hathaway ------ but if that's love -- -this is a significant crush!
Just brilliant. I was hoping, but not expecting Sweeney to add one more player with offensive ability. If he can stay healthy, this could be the last key piece to winning a Cup

I did hate when he gave those cheap shots to Matt Calvert when Calvert got checked into the Red Wings bench. Claude Lemieuxesque. But he paid his debt and we move forward. Hopefully, he can regain the scoring touch.

Just heard the news, Sweeney has done a good job off adding proven players to give them more depth for a serious run at the cup. Go Bruins!!!

They were saying that Hall was playing with reduced minutes (14 minutes) in the last few games so he must have been ailing in some way.

So Bertuzzi has had a couple top 6 seasons, and a couple rough ones. He’s in the midst of the latter. How much risk does Boston assume here?

Serious question. Don’t kill me.

pure rental so pretty low risk outside of losing the 1st rounder. good thing is he's bring brought in for the 3rd line so shouldnt be feeling too much pressure

Anyway, he wore #59 in Detroit, seems like a random practice squad number, but maybe he likes it and keeps it. There are lower numbers available (12, 14, 19) if he wants them. We'll see what he picks.

Well yeah that’s kinda what i mean. It’s all about asset management with these picks. Could they have done better with trading that pick? I lean towards no, but i don’t know enough about Bertuzzis struggles this season

Hall's been visibly off for months, I think he was just hanging on until they could replace him and then sent him home to rest until the playoffs.
He could need surgery according to Sweeney. Monty told the press post game that he didn't think Hall's injury was serious. Don't know whom to believe here.

I'm wondering now about Dom's "Hypothetical" the other day..... if Hall is ready towards the end of the regular season, does moving Reilly to a team desperate to clinch a spot does that clear enough space?
