Post-Game Talk: Two terrible teams plays on Saturday, the more terrible team loses. Habs lose (obviously).

We have only 1 line but even this line has struggled badly recently outside of the PP.

Anderson has no hockey IQ.

I hated our 3rd period. Even Edmonton , which can't defend at all, can stop our offence when they decide to retreat and play conservatively.

Also, why MSL continued to roll out 4 lines in the 3rd ? The 4th line had 3 players who haven't scored a single goal this season.

On the positive side, the PP did good and Armia and Dadonov were better than usual.
Guhle played really well too.

Pezzeta is useless.
Send him to Laval. No way in hell he will be claimed.
Call up Richard. He would be a good fit on the 4th line

How did you enjoy the game, despite the loss? Did your kids have fun?

Can you confirm that the concession prices were like this:

Yup expensive
Daughter 1 st game loved it.
Great building
Beer 15.00
Was good

All our penalties were deserved.
Refs were not really a factor, our indiscipline was.

I wished we had 1 pp or 2 in the 3rd but no huge infractions were missed to be honest.
Agreed, you do the crime

McJesus is just something else. An alien. Idk if y'all caught the mindblowing stats TVA put up : in his 512 games with the Huileux, he has his hands on 47.5% of all the goals. Lemieux had 47.9, Greztky 48.9 and Crosby 45. Just insane! He really is the 3rd best offensive player ever IMO, behind Gretzky and Lemieux. View attachment 616776

He's well on his way in becoming the first player in 27 years to break 130 points.

He's probably the quickest to get to 47 points since 95.

It'll be unreal if he reaches 150, although I doubt it. He often hits a mini-slump mi-season.

Matheson is terrible when he leads the rush. He doesn't see the ice well and invariably tries a play no one in their right mind would attemp.
How is it our 20 yr old NEVER gives the puck away needlessly when he is up on the rush.
I think it's time to run Guhle on the top PP unit

Sure the seas parted for Dach but he was left with little room to finish. Caufield missed another wide open net and continues to dish the puck to no one in particular. Suzuki has not been able to hold up play as well as he's done in the past so our zone time is very limited. Do you find that line are controlling play? because I don't. If that was a strong game by them we are in trouble because they can and should be much better. BTW It isn't all on them the D hasn't been able to contribute enough in the Ozone. It's still a 5 man game.

:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh: One of these guys had 4 gva's the other 1 too bad Nick didn't have as many points as his GVA. Oh and one guy threw the puck down the ice leading to a 5-3 goal the other didn't. I'm glad the 5v5 play was so strong. What a f***ing reach.

After all these years, it still feels like it's the Habs vs mcdrai.

When will they build a team around them because this just isn't going to work.
