Why are we acting like this is the first team ever in the history of sport to face boos from their own fans?
They'll either get over it and use it, or they'll be crushed, in which case if wager they don't have the mental fortitude required to be successful at a high level.
Why are we trying to coddle these guys? Did it work out under the previous coaching staff? Has it brought them an ounce of success to date?
What are we worried about here? Brady will ask for a trade? Tim will quit hockey altogether in a fit of tears?
If they blow the next game, and the barn is silent, then we have a bigger problem than team performance - we have apathetic fans.
I guess my perspective is that if it’s no big deal and they will just get over it, then why do it?
No, the purpose of booing them is to make them feel bad, and vent frustrations towards the only specific organizational members that fans can.
If people want to deliberately engage in that behaviour, well, they have a venue for it at the games. I personally think it should be reserved for our hated rivals and such things, instead of our own players who know they are struggling, and are clearly also not happy.
But whatever, people always have a ton of excuses at the ready for hurtful behaviour.
But they're not trying to stay positive and get better. They're literally sulking and acting bratty. They need a wake up call.
They need to hit rock bottom.
Right now they don't even look like they care to try to learn to get better. You can see it on JMs face. He's so frustrated because they're still skipping on assignments. They're not even trying to learn.
No they aren’t. That’s fan fiction bullshit
