Why are we acting like this is the first team ever in the history of sport to face boos from their own fans?I can't imagine if you've ever played hockey in front of crowds and at a high level this could possible help in any way. You don't think they know they're bad? They live it every day.
They'll either get over it and use it, or they'll be crushed, in which case if wager they don't have the mental fortitude required to be successful at a high level.
Why are we trying to coddle these guys? Did it work out under the previous coaching staff? Has it brought them an ounce of success to date?
What are we worried about here? Brady will ask for a trade? Tim will quit hockey altogether in a fit of tears?
If they blow the next game, and the barn is silent, then we have a bigger problem than team performance - we have apathetic fans.
