OT: TV & Movie thread: Part III

In a good, or bad way? That show's been on my list for a while.

I'm on season 2, episode 2, so I like it but it's kind of hard to go into detail about the show without giving the show away. It's got some interesting ideas and characters but the, eh, workspace is kind of implausible. Hard to say a lot. Definitely worth a spin though.

I'm watching season 2 of the weird-in-a-good-way Severance and season 1 of Mythic Quest. I like the underated MQ.

Finally finishing Den of Thieves (after my 5th start). Gonna try to get to season 2 of either Severance or Silo this afternoon.

Loving Silo, too, for what it’s worth. Apple is making some really good shows.

They certainly do although I'm watching one now that I am not loving: Prime Target. 3 episodes in and I may check out.

Poor Acapulco. Show a great Apple show that no one talks about probably because it's a bi-lingual feel-good comedy. I think it's better than that overrated Ted Lasso show.

Pachinko and Severance are amazing. I really liked Servant. There's also Silo, Slow Horses, For All Mankind, Foundation, Bad Sisters. The Morning Show has its moments.

I really liked See as well

What are your favorite episodes of the original ST? I'll take in no order:

Amok Time
The Trouble with Tribbles
Space Seed
Balance of Terror
Mirror, Mirror
The City on the Edge of Tomorrow

I cut the cord finally in 2025. Feels good

How are you surviving? I left DirecTv a little over 2 years ago. I signed up for Youtube TV when it was $55, but now it's up to around $90. Getting that itch to get rid of it. I have ESPN +, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Apple, Peacock, and Max I get free.

I finally saw Anora tonight after the Rangers game. I loved it. Mikey Madison had her moments on "Better Things", but she was phenomenal in Anora.
