When Carlo's friend gave himself up to the police, he commented that he'd been hiding for 3 months....if he was correct, three months passed between the two episodes.

Yeah I remember it. He did look like it’s been a long time the way he devolved into a no doubt junkie

There were timing issues throughout the series in quite a few episodes. Listen, I didn't hate the series, I just was dissapointed that it had so many weak points in it. And friggen Adam...my lord, I don't recall hating a character so much as I hated him. He got what he deserved is all I can say.

I don't think he became a junkie. However, I find it odd he said he'd been hiding for 3 months when it didn't feel that way with the other characters.

Just finished the final ep....it was interesting watching the ball of wax unravel. You were correct about one thing -- that was the only ending to do the show justice.

Men in Kilts is worth a watch. Graham McTavish is the most likable dude on the planet and Scotland is beautiful. If you’re a whisky drinker, it’s even more fun. My fiancé is an EU citizen which means she doesn’t need a visa to stay in other EU countries and we’ve discussed moving to Scotland for the better part of the past year. Show definitely makes us want to do so.

If anyone is interested Comedy central showing "Killing is Easy" the story of comedian Patrice O'neal. Died way too young. In my opinion one of the best comics ever and would have been for sure if he didn't pass at such a young age.
Seen many the top comics but my biggest regret was not seeing Patrice live.

Loving every second of Blacklist. James Spader is just so delightfully eloquent — one of the few fictional TV characters who improve your vocabulary and speech.

I thought the doc was excellent, highly recommend but I’m clearly biased.

Started watching Outlander again...finished only episode 3 of season 1 a little while ago.

Anyone in here watch it and either recommend it or not? My sister and my girlfriend loved it and so I'm taking their advice but want to hear from anyone in here who has one.

The series started so promising, but went downhill fast. Those last few episodes weren't good.

I've never see a judge whose court was supposed to be full of cases never be in court as much as Cranston.

Adam was annoying as hell.

Margo Martindale must have needed some money. I kept waiting for her to have some impact on the story, but her character was a dud.

I don't think I made it through the first episode.

Outlander is meh for me. I want to love it, but I can’t. It’s still not bad by any means. The problem is that the main female just isn’t really that interesting and I don’t care about her story. I love the Scotts and the history and culture and they’re all much more fun. The drinking, fighting, feasting, traveling is all great. The main guy in the past is a great character and the supporting cast is great. She’s just not interesting or even that likable. The whole I love my husband, I have to get back to the present day, wait I love my other husband from the past, I need to go back and be with him instead just isn’t really that riveting. The setting and characters are great, but the central character does nothing for me. I made it through like 20 episodes and it was fine as something to watch at night that has a setting and time period I’m interested in, but we never felt like wow, I can’t wait to turn it on again, and eventually found better things to watch, like when S3 of American Gods released. The reason Men in Kilts exists, IMO, is because those two actors and Scotland itself are much more interesting and people like them a lot more than the story and main character of Outlander.

Yup exactly....as I said a few times previously in my reviews of Your Honor, the show had me the first two episodes bigtime. Than we got let down for around 6 episodes or so with a bunch of ridiculous BS capped by the Adam crush on the Baxter daughter...I mean really?

Last two episodes were fine nothing great...nothing terrible. It was very forgettable series and I hope to god they don't do a season 2 which the way it ends, the writers left it open for interpretation as to a season 2 as there are some loose ends.

And agreed about Margo. Wonderful actress most of the time but here....meh. I'm biased tho about her seeing her role as Mags Bennett in the awesome series Justified set such a high bar for her, it's been hard for her to top that.

Appreciate the input LDog. I've made it now to episode 6 of season 1 and I'm going to definitly finish the season. My girlfriend and sister swear by it and tell me it gets much much better tho your review doesn't give me much confidence in that occurring.

We'll see as I said to Zephyr....jury is still out....thx again bro!

Any Flight of the Conchords fans in here? I started a rewatch recently, had a dream that they made a comeback with a 3rd season, imagine my disappointment when I woke up
Yis, Britt.

Have you seen the vampire mockumentary What We Do In the Shadows? They made it into a series now too, lol.

I didn’t make it super far so it’s possible it does get better. It got better over time as is, just never transcending beyond my main criticism. I’d love to watch the Scottish clans argue, drink and fight and see the detailed look at old Scotland more, I just never connect with the main character. I do think the central tenet of the show is more female oriented.
