The fact that he's pulling the same **** as last year in the biggest game is telling. Far from a coincidence either, how can anyone defend this? It's like clock work.

Is he sick or injured?

Last time I checked there is a difference.

Except here with the brain-trust of HF Boards.

You say this like Rask is faking it somehow.

Lower body injury according to Cassidy. Day to Day.

Can we pump the breaks on him being "sick" to get out of this game? Like Jesus Christ, wait for some info

You said it, not me.

Tonight.
Last year vs. the Senators.
The Bronze Medal game in the olympics.

That's a serious track record in big games to miss.

This has to signify and end to the Rask era in Boston. If we miss playoffs that is. I mean maybe he is just the unluckiest guy in the world to all of sudden get sudden illness'/unseen injuries in the biggest games of the year when the season is on the line... or maybe after his coach called him out and fans are getting on him, he just quits on the team and doesnt give a ****.... I dont know to be honest, either or, I would be done if Im Bruins front office.

Again, if we miss. If we get into the playoffs than all will be judged on performances in playoffs. Regular season, as roller coasty as it has been, will be forgotten for the most part.

The problem being we really dont have anyone else or any options really, so most likely he will be back. But to the crowd who still defends him I just dont know how really. He makes elite saves no doubt, and he certainly isnt a bad goalie but much like a Jay Cutler, he doesnt seem to show up in big games/moments, and is very mentally fragile.

At this point a downgrade in goaltending that will battle and be consistent might be better to play in front of than this gong show every year.

So it was Tuukka's decision? Gotcha.
Go out there and win it for us Dobie. It means a lot to me as a fan that he's willing to go to battle for Boston.

I hope everyone piling on Rask and attacking him ad hominem now truly sign out from ever being fans of his, even when he turns it around and becomes an elite goalie again. Frankly I can't figure out if most of you are fans of the Bruins at all if you can turn on your own players this viciously.

You're basically making **** up about him and posting it here anonymously, and probably admiring your posts afterwards how edgy you seem. Bunch of clowns and losers suffering from an inferiority complex. Does it really hurt this bad that this guy has 50 million banked when all is said and done? Go back to your cubicles and shut up.

Please tell Tuukka I hope he feels better Mrs Rask, thank you.

I'm sorry but it's either a huge coincidence that he missed the Ottawa game last year and tonight's game which is the biggest one of the season or he just doesn't have the stones. Why do people keep defending Rask?!

Tap out Tuukka - hilarious Mike!

Might be a new avatar in the near future. Hope you dont mind

Honest to god, that was a name I had in my head the other night, and when I heard the news I yelled out loud in my kitchen.

Thirty seconds later Jim Murray on the Sports Hub used it too. So I probably don't get many bonus points for originality.
