him being more injured than we know doesn't really change the story, does it?

kane was playing through injuries, and we knew there were some injuries, for the good of the playoff push. redneck teammate who has a freakin' BWI on his record disrespects/picks on him. teammates don't have his back. so yeah, kane goes "eff you, why am i doing this? i'm out."

organization doesn't have his back. so kane goes: "oh yeah, eff you too. i'll get that surgery now and wreck your playoff chances by destroying your return if you try to trade me before the deadline." chevy should thank his lucky stars that connor mcdavid exists and that there's a buffalo in the league that would give him a stafford to fill the e. kane hole.

but we knew all that already. we just have more reason to sympathize with him now that we know the extent of those injuries.

I feel like this is starting to become extremely exaggerated. These were probably very, very minor injuries at most. Injuries that most NHL players play through.

I'm waiting for someone to claim he broke his neck or cracked his skull next.

BREAKING: Evander Kane played half the season with a severed head!

The CBA says otherwise

I thought I heard that players were responsible for following their respective team's rules. I don't think the CBA has any rules that strictly pertain to how a player needs to show up. I could be wrong though. If I am, then I stand corrected.
