We should have given Winnipeg Zadorov because he is a terrible influence to the rebuild as well. Was suspended by his team. No good hooligan.:sarcasm:

Young men are going to be young men. Don't blow anything out of proportion. Literally every team has a guy without a stellar attitude. Couple was kicked out of Boston College if I remember, Merrill had troubles, Carter and Richards had issues, Lupul is a party guy, Seguin had some troubles, Heatley had his issues, etc. Give him some slack. People straighten out over time usually.

The biggest issue I have over the whole trade and everything is my username. :shakehead

23 isn't a kid. I'm sure excuses will always be made for him. Apparently he's the first player to play with injuries.

Sheahan was arrested for a DUI in a Teletubby costume.

It's difficult to button up a shirt and tie a tie when your hand is broken.

How does this put a different spin on things?

The issue was never his toughness. Unless The Jets were trying to force him to play injured this doesn't change anything.

I can't believe there are actually people who think the track suit was an isolated incident and is the entire reason he got traded

I feel like this is starting to become extremely exaggerated. These were probably very, very minor injuries at most. Injuries that most NHL players play through.

I'm waiting for someone to claim he broke his neck or cracked his skull next.

I think the idea is that if he was playing as well as he was with a broken hand, broken foot, and a wrecked shoulder then he should theoretically play much better then he is fully healed.

He was only grimacing in pain hunched over on the bench after every shift for the last month. Posters rushing to point out how Jets fans should reconsider their opinions of him should realize we all knew he was pretty damn tough.

Wish a bunch of former Sabres had off ice issues if it meant they weren't going to coast through games.

All those people complaining about him taking the IR route don't look so smart right about now.

Why would he continue to risk further injuring himself for teammates that didn't have his back?

Better yet, how much of an ass was he that despite playing through injuries, his teammates still couldn't stand him? Generally, it's endearing to players when teammates try their best to play through injuries, as it shows a level of commitment to the team above one's self. Kane was apparently playing through some pretty serious ones, and even that wasn't enough to keep players from publicly criticizing and embarrassing him.

Oblivious to appreciating what he was doing by playing through all of it. Obviously.. :sarcasm:
