Win tonight and things start to get really interesting
Now wouldn't that be the ultimate game changer. He gets hurt in the first round and it ends up fixing the issues he's been dealing with all year and he becomes the player we've been needing starting in the ECF."Will I be able to shoot, doctor?"
"I believe so, Teuvo."
"Good, because I haven't been able to all season."

he won't move the needle a ton but 100% a much better option than pool party/MacMac

Sounds like his particular break lends itself to a quick recoveryLool how is that even possible
(Good news tho)
That Tripp supposedly said on XM that Turbo would play next seriesWhat did the tweet say?
Teuvo Teräväinen, stickpucker. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic hand. Teuvo Teräväinen will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.Maybe the doctors give a new cyborg hand so he can shoot puck better.
I'd say maybe not need but I'd be happy to have him back. He's still good enough defensively to PK and could even play in a 4th line role. If he finds his offense, that's just more depth in case the guys scoring way above their head slow down. We also have a few guys that have performed very well this playoffs that people might have said the same about three weeks ago.Do we need him back though?
Gives us more depth an more offensive upside than we currently have. Even if he's back to just this year's performance, he is still very good defensively and allows for us to be able to counter whatever offensive lines the opponent puts out. If he comes back with the full game we've been waiting for, its the perfect reinforcement at the perfect time.Do we need him back though?
That was the plan, but cybernetic equipment cannot withstand extended sauna time.Teuvo Teräväinen, stickpucker. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. The slash on turbo was more of a hockey play on a break to try to prevent a scoring chance. 100% clear and obvious penalty which should have been called and it's egregiously bad reffing that it wasn't but I don't think it's really comparable to the Pietrangelo slash which was well behind the play in a blowout loss, and more of a deliberate chop with intent to injure. The results are unfortunate but I think the suspensions/lack thereof here are correct; although Pietrangelo prob should've gotten 2-3 games.Still annoyed at the inconsistency of the player safety department. JG Pageau breaks TT's hand with a tomahawk chop and no suspension happens. Alex Pietrangelo does the same thing against one of the NHL's top stars, but without breaking a hand, and of course gets a suspension for it. Where's the consistency? A suspension only happened because the slash was made against Leo Draisaitl. The NHL has got to care about all your players, not just the superstars...
Department of Player Safety really needs an overhaul this offseason.
Yeah, results aside, the Pietro one was significantly worse. Had to review them again. You’re right. For whatever reason I remembered Pageau’s slash was more intentional, but definitely was a hockey play.
