Hahahahha. Ok TSN. Bunting, Kerfoot, Engvall, Simmons is no doubt the envy of most of the NHL. You've done it again. Certainly better than Marchand, Hall, Debrusk, Foligno/Frederic according to the best minds in sports.

And better than Ehlers, Connor, Barron and Harkins in Winnipeg too!!!! ahahahahahaha. You'd think they have to be trolling at this point but these homers really believe it.

Reading can be hard sometimes I guess
 
This is so bad.

I dont understand what the point of breaking down the LW even means. They got guys who play C and RW in the LW and they have guys who play LW that they have slotted somewhere else.

Just break the forwards down as a group.

Some of the rankings quite frankly dont make any sense.

Yost sucks.

It's the Toronto media, doubtless they're appealing to two groups within LeafsNation who constitute it's greatest readership: Fans who also love hating the club and fans who love hating every other club to the point of irreconcilable cognitive bias.

There's another subset of fans who see through the ruse and who can articulate where we as a club in the present are and moving forward (or not)might reasonably be. But inevitably, whether it's other fanbases or those within our own, we're seldom recognized...Too boring I suppose.

There are good journalists out there. Not as provoking in terms of pushed or pulled theatre though. I don't know if half of the not so good ones are (Leafs') homers or not. Like anything else, if it walks like...talks like...it probably is. And for the life of me - in 2022 - I don't know how we can call some of these characters homers or professionals and reconcile the two without raising the question:

If it's your job to know the game and the league and the team, how do you constantly come up with these cringe takes if you're actually a fan of the club you claim to be, yet constantly underserve it?

Its not "TSN." TSN has tons of personalities that regularly trash the Leafs, if you watched their free agency show it was absurd.

The problem is the nerds. It's whenever Dom or Yost ranks things, you guys get so mad.

I 100% agree with you that Marchand should be listed as a LW...but your answer as to why Boston is rated lower than you'd like to see is very obvious, there's a ppg+ player missing for some reason.

Well Hubie did socre 115 points last year and Andrew Mangiapane is a really good top 6 winger along with Lucic playing his role.

Not even sure the 4th line LW matters but Pelltier is there as well.

Some weird rankings though to be sure.
 
Ryan Lomberg and Nick Cousins playing on your 3rd & 4th line left side = Elite
Panarin and Kreider playing on your 1st and & 2nd line left side = Average.
