Maybe he can add thick framed glasses to his mullet look to get on Cronin and Verbeek’s good side.

Z doesn't look like he isn't having fun playing which was part of his swagger. I'm concerned he just won't hit his potential with us when he gets criticized by his coaches and GM. I hope they have staff members or a sports therapist helping him. It's not fun to be at work walking on eggshells....

I think he's gonna be OK, not sure about the linemate situation I don't like that we seem married to Gauthier with Leo because Leo is gonna get the attention as a number 1 center and I feel Gauthier is not ready to he a 1st line player

Lost at the Cronin Corral. Just like Torts, Cronin doesn't do "fancy like". For Cronin, "It's dump & chase and being the best of the best, sir!"

Personally I'd trade Cronin for Torts in a nano second. I'll bet Torts and Z would work out just fine. As an older coach, Torts has figured out a lot of things where Cronin is still at the WTF? stage of figuring it out.

I’d pay to see Gauthier introduce himself to Torts…

“You don’t know me, my name is Cutter Gauthier.”

Cronin has negatively impacted Zegras, as much mentally as his on ice productivity.

Zegras looks like a shell of his former self and shows little signs of snapping out of it. And Leo is the #1 center now and for the foreseeable future; that won’t change, nor should it.

I think the hype and the NHL23 cover has hurt him. In addition to Cronin, other teams have figured out how to stop him.

But Zegras has the responsibility to make adjustments to be productive because going forward with his career, wherever he ends up, may not be conducive to his game.

I’m not comparing him to Sonny Milano, as Zegras is far better, but Milano always floats in the offense. Zegras needs to find a way not to float as much, simplify his game, and get to the right places to score.

The game moves so fast and before you know it, years have gone by and that shiny toy is in the donation bin if it can’t keep up.
