Yup - figure the $ would be less than what Coyle's getting and Frederic took over the 3C role.

Coyle's always been underwhelming in the top 6 and you could probably get more in a deal for him with the extra year on his deal and playoff teams looking for solid bottom 6 shut down types like him.

Like last season?

25-35-60 in the top 6. Third in scoring on the team.

tell my boy stan that frederic is a true difference maker for the oilers. great skater, wicked shot, plays hard every single shift, bone crushing hits all over the ice and he arrives on time for every hit. will easily put up 55 pts a year consistently.......savoie and a 1st should do it but act quickly there will be a bidding war :-)
Oilers do not have a 25 first so has to be 26.I feel like Bruins could do better with other teams because I do not really like Oilers prospects either.

I was responding to another poster asking about Freddy and the oilers and was just having fun. but, I get your point for sure. my strong preference is that whatever Donny does its for more ready prospects rather than picks. but I don't get a vote.

I'm fine with that long as they get right guys

Yeah and even in his best season ever he finished back on the 3rd line after Geekie took the top 6 spot in the FLA series.

What are you talking about? No player spent more time next to Brad Marchand in last year's playoffs than Charlie Coyle. Marchand-Coyle-Debrusk played the most of any line combo. Next was Geekie-Zacha-Pasta. Geekie was elevated early in the Leaf series.

Don't worry. In about 10 days, you won't need to worry about making things up to defend Trent Frederic anymore.

I swear some people have #11 posters on their bedroom ceiling.

The guy has been the drizzling shits all year and that's gone past being an opinion.

Literally shows up twice every 10 games. The fact he will step in and defend teammates is his only redeeming quality.

I know he started there but could have sworn they went back to Coyle Heinen Frederic toward the end of that playoff run.

27 games? I suppose we can assume he was pretty productive if we go back to that 28th game ago.
You're right, he scored 2 goals, then went pointless in 11.

Actually, it's easier when you just go back to the start of the year. Guy is being offensively out produced by Erik Cernak.

Wait - so he had 2 goals went pointless for 11 then scored again. That's 3 goals in 13 games. Not bad for a 3rd liner.

FWIW it's all a joke. Just think it's funny how and when people split stats.
3 points in 13 games isn’t really good, man. Is 15 points in 50+ good for a 3rd liner?
