Per a tweeted question to Giannone , no MSG coverage this year.

I guess they couldn't find the room to air the games. I mean, with all the Emmy caliber shows they have such as The Bracket, 10 to 1, Halls of Fame with Fran Healy, The Game 365, and March to the 94 Finals, I can't blame them for not airing the games:sarcasm:

they always have time to show the NBA summer leagues every year.. that is how they attract fans and then if their is airtime they might show some NHL prospect games :help:

If the roster isn't out Tuesday 5, 1:59 PM I am going on a hunger strike. Buckle up.

In the past, I've been very excited about Traverse City, but this year all the players I'm dying to see may just get long looks in pre-season: Fast, Lindberg, Miller, Kreider, Kristo, McIlrath. The only other prospects I'd love to watch more of are: Buchnevich, Skjei and Nieves. 1 is not coming from Russia and the other two probably won't play because of NCAA rules making them pay their own way.

Did they change the Traverse City roster rules?

Columbus has 5 players with at least one year of pro experience. Teams were allowed 4 players.

Any chance NHL network takes a break from its Penguins broadcasting marathon and airs the tourney?

The Giannone tweet

"Efforts". He means resources as in money. MSG televised Traverse City in 2011. The Rangers played their pre-season games in Europe and played their first two regular season games in Europe. MSG had Sam Rosen and Joe Micheletti call those games from the MSG studios on a TV screen. MSG used another broadcast feed for the video.

Jim Cerny is not being sent to Traverse City.

Is there a bank account or tel. number to call to donate $ to MSG?

It wouldn't suprise me if there are a bit of a negotiation going on here. Could quite possible be a reason for our roster not being out yet.

I was thinking this as well. Considering the amount of young Rangers with pro experience.

If Miller, Kreider, Kristo, Lindberg, Fast and McIlrath all go, I don't see how they wouldn't be the favorites. This doesn't even account for St. Croix, Hughes and Allen who should have very good showings as well.

grr, so there is not going to be any way to watch this?

blech.

I'm holding out hope that either A. another team will stream it or B. blueshirtsunited will have a stream like they did for practices and AHL exhibition games last year.

Neither is a guarantee though for sure.

Hrivik, Yogan, Jean, etc.

I dont expect Kreider to play at TC

Don't forget about Nicholls and Noreau (...Kantor), or the Junior guys DuClair and Graves (...Donnay) and Skapski.
Expect Wolfpack signee Malcolm in net, and maybe Dodero on D.
Also maybe some Greenville guys as try-outs, maybe Johnston who was Whale property last year as a rookie pro.
