Is there a LEGAL way to watch these games on-line (I live in FL and hockey coverage on cable here doesn't exist)
Red Wings and Wild should be streaming it on their website. Rangers might too (they did for previous two years)

Fox Sports Go app will have it as well.

The kids and ther high numbers these days I tell ya. In my day they respected the big numbers and kept them off the sweaters where they belong.

We need real NHL hockey so we can argue about the important things, like whether that last triple deflection goal on Hank would have been stopped by Raanta.

Not sure what to think of Stukel. Could he be the first good thing Konowalchuk brings to the Rangers? Or was he invited before we signed Kono?

thats how it should be...although lets be honest thats been said in the past and then the vets never got moved.

and on the flipside they didn't leave any gapping holes so they aren't forced to keep a kid unless they are ready

Except this time we’ve got Jeff Gorton and he is not f****n’ around.

And you’re right, no GAPING holes. It’s a total win-win.

The direction which this team is heading is almost as exciting as all of our heart & soul-shattering playoff losses of the entirety Lundqvists career! :sarcasm:

Not sure gettinger can skate well enough to be a top 6 guy even in the ahl. Rather have a vet like Schneider there for sure

While I don't particularly see him as a top 6 guy, I freely admit that his upside is a bit of a wild card.

Gettinger is still a pretty raw player who has a lot of moving parts that are still coming together. While he's not a blazing skater, he also covers a lot of ground and is somewhat deceptive. How that translates to the AHL remains to be seen.

But he's going to be one of those kids the Pack will have to gamble with a bit to start the year.

Pretty pumped to watch it tonight, I hope we have commentators but I don't believe we did for any of our games last year.
