Given how well some of the team has performed its going to be an interesting camp. Unlike alot of the posters I actually think there is a chance for a few of the prospects to make the team, primarily because Columbus doesn't play with a traditional four line structure. The lines last year were rolled fairly evenly and there was little difference in terms of their roles. Every line of the blue jackets plays the same way, puck-possession focused two-way play. I could easily see any of the 2013 first round picks making the team out of camp due to the fact that playing on the third/fourth line isn't drastically different in play time or roll than the first/second line. For a while I wouldn't be shocked to see Wennberg center the third line and Dano the fourth, at least until Johansen returns after his hold out.

I know this tournament doesn't matter or factor in at all to someone making the CBJ, but I am a bit disappointed in Wennberg's offensive production. Maybe he's had bad luck or something (I obviously haven't seen the games) but I expected him to produce, especially when it seems like we're having no trouble scoring goals.
Dano may be the one who makes the team instead of him, if he keeps it up into camp/preseason

This tournament isn't really for evaluating advanced prospects anyways. We've seen them up against better competition plenty of times. It's the marginal prospects and the guys we haven't seen play big tournaments before, that this tournament is useful for.
Training Camp on the other hand... a mighty pity to be sick during training camp.

good point...i agree...its the LeBlancs and Pelltiers and Siebanalers that are being evaluated...
Peter Quennvelle that doesn't have a deal yet with us, his performance may land him an ELC...

3 points in 3 games...in the two games i saw, he played hard and well...i was hoping for a bit more from him, but he wasn't unimpressive...I can't wait to see more from him this and next year...
