Nowhere near it. Honestly, his career stats lead me to believe he's just a goon. How close is he to being NHL-ready?
not very...he's big, but he's a project...was just an invite with CBJ...

#CBJ lines today:
Dano-Wennberg-Bjorkstrand
Rychel-Tynan-Anderson
Moutrey-Sedlak-Soberg

#CBJ defense pairs:
Heatherington-Madaisky
LeBlanc-Larkin
Ryan-Siebenaler
Forsberg in net, 3:30pm puck drop.
Moutrey - Sedlak - Soberg ... I am a big fan of that line!
Haha it's the second line the caught my eye. Rychel and Anderson centered by tiny little Tynan.Rob Mixer @RobMixer 1m

I've been a fan of Tynan for a while, think he's definitely got the talent. Just really lacks the size, and it's going to be a much bigger problem for him as a center than it is for guys like Cam Atkinson who play the wing.I'd like to know what you think of Tynan. I've watched a decent amount of ND games the last couple years and he always stood out as one of the best guys on the ice, on both ends of the ice. I'm not sure of the exact timing of the trade in relation to the pick, but I'm sure they were targeting him when they made it. While they obviously should have done a little better with the original pick, its a move that I think hasn't gotten enough attention as I really think he has a better chance to fill an "open" role on our team in the next couple years than some of our "top" prospects. His game seems like a combo of Letestu and Mackenzie. He brings the speed of Mackenzie while being more skilled offensively than both. He's also quite good defensively. I could see him see time centering our 4th line within the next couple years.
