So Hartford is going to have new coaches.

Most likely the blueline listed above plus a veteran or two

And guys like Newell Elmer Lettieri Jones beleskey Dmowski De Giuseppe O Regan Fogarty Meskanen probably Nieves too up front, maybe even Andersson and Shesterkin/Huska goalie combo? There’s no reason they shouldn’t be very good.

Hartford should look like

Rykov Raddyish
Reunanen Keane
Lindgren Day
Crawley

Think they brought in a few veteran guys too I can’t remember names but one or two right guys one a Calder winner he may factor in. But can’t think of names at all.

I expect Reunanen to go back to Lukko if he isn't on the Rangers

I’d say the G and D is their strength

There have clearly been something off with Keane this TCT. Not injury-ish, but he just don’t seem to be in balance mentally. Tripped over the blueline with the puck at one point, nobody was close to him. Stuff like that happen. Sometimes you can accidentally deliver a pass right onto an enemy blade right infront of your goalie, it also happens. Like you make those small passes so fast in the game today, sometimes it goes wrong.

But there have been so much of the above from him. And like one play that really stands out to me was when he sent a really soft puck around the boards to Kakko. You don’t clear the puck softly around the boards even if you think your teammate have position on the defender. It’s like a non-exception rule, you always clear the puck hard like you want to get it out. He of course knows that, it’s just a real zero focus play.

It’s surprising because it’s so different from how uber confident he looked early last season.

But in general it’s not unusual. Kids can be very up and down. Hopefully Keane can rebound. Wouldn’t be surprised if he started in the ECHL.

Reunanen is top 10-15 defender in Liiga upcoming season, and Liiga and AHL are pretty much same level, so i think he would be better than more than few in one club.

You think the NYR who signed him to his entry level deal care what’s happening in Liiga? They’ll do what’s best to get him ready for the NHL. If he continues to play like this in the main camp he’s not going anywhere. He’ll be in Hartford with our coaches. And a phone call away if and when they need him for the varsity

Nope, he will play in NHL or Liiga next season. And that's a fact.

goal by Newell. not much known about this NYR prospect. good signing as UDFA

was a final 10 candidate for Hobey Baker award last season

Patrick Newell - 2019 Hobey Baker Top 10
"For the majority of the new year, St Cloud State has been ranked number one.
Leading the way is the NCHC scoring champion, Patrick Newell.
He was named First Team all-conference while being a finalist for Forward of the Year.
Newell logs plenty of icetime on special teams and has tallied six game winning goals for third in the nation."

thanks. i also like Nick Jones, but I am shocked that he is on a 2 year AHL deal. I guess they want to offer him a NHL contract next summer. most AHL deals are usually one year or so I thought.
