So it's Rangers vs Blues in the 5th place game? What time is puck drop tomorrow? Should be an easy win for the boys.

Ugh it bothers me. Our guys are always overlooked. Fox has 9 pts in 3 games. He should be all over The NHL world right now for his performance.

Kakko is everywhere tonight as he should be

lol no one cares about this tournament. he's already one of the top ranked prospects in the league. there is zero additional hype to give until he starts playing nhl games

im so sorry but getting excited and or upset over traverse city is just another symptom of "when does the real season start-itis". its going around.

traverse city is a momentary distraction. nothing more. means little

we always suck there anyway.

I mean obviously

We had one real stinker of a game. But we also didn't have a hell of a whole lot of forward depth and especially in the first two games. Even guys like Elmer, Newell and Jones have been passengers for most of the tournament. The guys who stuck out really well--Kakko, Fox and Kravtsov--and after them Robertson and Henriksson. Shesterkin was much better today--Reunanen played pretty well and Huska was good in his game. Apart from that the team was pretty ho hum.

The Minnesota announcers said the Rangers didn't have any returnees from last year but actually we had two--Keane and Gross but most teams were bringing a lot more than that and most teams had anywhere from 2 to 5 guys who played an entire season in the AHL--so this Rangers team was pretty young.

I believe that the NHL will officially announce a rule change tomorrow allowing Fox and Kakko to run pick-n-roll plays.
It’s already being turned intolerant NBA on ice. Count shots from behind the blue line for two and Bettman’s work is done here. Unless of course he can eliminate the NHLPA during negotiations for the next cba.

Elmer and Jones were noticeable. I don't think they were passengers

K2 isn’t legendary (fictitious) and it’s not in the himalayas

Legendary doesn’t just mean fictitious.

Look it up on Wikipedia it is in Pakistan.
That wasn’t the point.
It is the mountain that is the greatest test for climbers.

Kakko looked like NHL 19 where you give your Be a Pro all 99 ratings.

This reminds me of how I was arguing with my coworkers a while back that "myth" doesn't just refer to mythology.

Commander Kakko and his handmaids, OfKaapo... ;)

I am worried if he makes the team, that is not going to be an easy name for ANY of our announcers. LOL

The tricky part is the OY pronunciation. Re-OY-nanen. NOT Re-U-nanen.

It sticks out, like if someone said Jines instead of Jones. If someone prounce the J like in Spannish or puts a little z sounds after the s, it might sound a bit odd. But the second some commentator starts going “Jines skates with the puck, Jines passes the puck” lol you can’t think of anything else.

I’ve been watching the Rangers for 60 years and I’ve longed for a player like this.

Long live The Kapo!

You mean Andy Bathgate doesn't qualify? lol. Been watching Rangers for a little less than you... 49 years and your right, we've never had a player like this.

Don't want to get too much ahead of myself but man it's so exciting to consider the possibilities of what this kid could end up becoming.
