Yeah this tournament usually means nothing. Hell most of the time the players are mostly coasting.

Yeah... unless I was trying out for the team or was on the fringe it would be hard to get up for this sorta thing. Preseason is a different story since it'll ultimately determine how the dust will settle. No amount of domination in this tournament will negate a crappy preseason performance so there isn't a ton of incentive to go all out

Ehh, it’s his first game since the WC, and he was just sick for a few days. If anything, the main focus of this tournament (and other prospect tournaments) is for the younger players to knock off the rust and get up to speed for training camp
