I am confused on the 2 year AHL contract. I thought all AHL contracts were 1 year and from year to year. I wonder if NYR will sign Jones if he has a good AHL season.

Drives everyone crazy but it's spot-on. Rangers send a pile of young kids they want a look at. They don't compile a roster based on being competitive.

Minnesotas kids skate very very hard pretty much all the time due to how they aggressively trap around the puck. Rangers kids seem a lot more read and react-y so there's just a lot less room and time.

He definitely hasn't been as aggressive.

Still has probably been our best defenseman, though Reunanen has been very solid as well.

At the risk of pissing some folks off.. I don't think he was that noticeable in the last game. He was opportunistic and capitalized on some good chances, but he wasn't driving the play shift after shift or anything.
