At the risk of pissing some folks off.. I don't think he was that noticeable in the last game. He was opportunistic and capitalized on some good chances, but he wasn't driving the play shift after shift or anything.
oh boy you're gonna get it

Is it too early to tarmo as a possible anton stralman? I cant watch this game but i hope its true i watched his highlights, smart two way kid with some offense from what it looks like

Next Stralman Part VIII

End of 2. 2-0 Minny

Pretty much the same as the 1st period. A little more action offensively. Kakko looks nice with the puck on his stick. Shesterkin having a good game despite two goals against.

No one is really noticeable at all today. Jones looked good at the PK & Reunanen having another solid game.

Still a little over 4 minutes on the PP so they got to do something there!!

He's carried the puck well without any giveaways that I've noticed. Skinner, Keane, Gross, and Robertson have all been less consequential.

Gross has also had a nice few touches & so has Robertson.

Don’t get it twisted, I’m not saying he’s having a bad game. He’s just not been dominant as he was last game by a significant margin.

I don't know what signs of genius other folks have been reporting seeing in Kravtsov in this particular tournament... but if his preseason looks anything like he has at TC he starts in Hartford.

I second that, but this tournament usually isn’t a good determination on most of these players.

We’ll see how training camp goes....0

Rangers probably trying too hard to setup the perfect or pretty goal and need to just be crashing the net and trying to shoot for rebounds and stuff
How many times have we said this in the last 24 years about the varsity club?

Not asking the team to win the whole thing but you want your best prospects to stand out against their peers across the league.

Eh, teams like the Wild and Blue Jackets send players who have played in this tournament before, send older ahl prospects who have played together. This is all first timers for the Rangers being thrown together for a 4 day tournament. Only the top line for the Rangers was even drafted by the team.

I'd certainly agree with that; Fox isn't the same force that he was last game.

He is still very solid though. No mistakes, wins the majority of his puck battles, and stickhandles up the ice at will.

When him or Reunanen are at the point, I fully expect them to receive passes and distribute the puck intelligently. The other four guys have had some nice plays this game (Gross perhaps the most notable), but they also have their share of bobbles and giveaways.

Why? Hockey is a team game, it takes chemistry and a unit accomplishing certain things. Think it has very little to do about individual -- before you get there.

Seriously, maybe we should learn something of this? If Lias played 2 periods like Kakko did he would have been labeled a bust by now.

Not even Kakko is just hitting the ice pwning things.
