For those of us not able to watch the game, wtf is going on and who got hurt?

Byfield went into the corners bumped and went awkwardly into the boards. Feet first could get up on his own weight, looks like at best sprained ankle

For those not watching, Byfield got shoved awkwardly into the boards and his leg got stuck. If I had to guess, it's a broken leg or ankle. Not good, had to be helped off the ice and couldn't put pressure on it. That f***ing sucks.

That's ligament damage, hopefully not a significant tear.
Let’s hope not. I tore all of the ligaments in my ankle. 3 months in a cast, 6 months in a walking boot, bruised and sore for over a year. Probably 2-3 years before I felt normal again.

I hate the concept of karma because I'd like to think we've earned our way out of it by now but this if this is the kind of shit that's going to keep happening... I don't even know what to say, seems premature to make a decision but it doesn't look good. And the yotes score, let's seal it.

Almost hoping for a break here? Tear obviously worse, and high ankle will linger all season and impact his speed/ability to drive the play like he was tonite.

I really hope its not Achilles related, dont have long term effects on his skating

Not gonna speculate goodness it didn't look good. Achilles is what I was thinking too. I ruptured mine a while back and it's no bueno!!! Crossing my fingers.

That unnatural bend puts all the pressure on the ligaments and tendons. Hopefully its just a strain.
