Is there any reason to dress Wagner or Lizotte at this point? So many better options.

Wagner needs to go, but Lizotte is a pretty damn good 4th line caliber player. He gets pucks deep, keeps pucks deep, and makes the smart & simple plays to push play in the right direction. Can’t really ask for a whole lot more from your 4th line center. I mainly just wish he was more of a presence on the dot.

Some “better” players aren’t necessarily suited to fill that role.

I'd agree he gets pucks in deep, but from my perspective he routinely gets pushed off the puck. He maybe a workhorse and a hard forechecker but in my mind doesn't mean squat if you lose possession every time you do chip it in.
