Sorry if this has been asked before, but are there legal online streaming options for the Kings games anyone is aware of?

The legal ones are gonna be ESPN+ and TNT this year.

If you're in LA, your option is to buy into those services with a VPN.

The best legal option is to buy the NHL package and get a VPN to bypass black outs. I used that for about 4 years and officially cut that off last year. Now if you want grey market solutions, send me a PM.

If you're looking for something for free then it won't be legal or reliable unless it's one of the free games they stream each week.

Group A is shaping up to be the main competition for the opening night lineup. Group B looks like the next set of cuts.

Kings trim roster by three + Day 7 groupings/lines & a lookahead to Frozen Fury - LA Kings Insider

Group A
Viktor Arvidsson – Anze Kopitar – Dustin Brown
Vladimir Tkachev – Phillip Danault – Alex Iafallo
Adrian Kempe – Gabe Vilardi – Lias Andersson
Trevor Moore – Quinton Byfield – Austin Wagner
Brendan Lemieux – Blake Lizotte – Carl Grundstrom
Rasmus Kupari

Mikey Anderson – Drew Doughty
Tobias Bjornfot – Matt Roy
Alex Edler – Sean Walker
Olli Maatta – Kale Clague

Jonathan Quick
Cal Petersen

At forward, it looks like Byfield, Wagner, Lemieux, Lizotte, Grundstrom and Kupari are fighting for 4 spots. My early guess is that Wagner, Lizotte and Lemieux make the cut because of a combination of camp performance and money. Kupari and Byfield go to the AHL and so does Grundstrom after clearing waivers. The big mystery is AA22.

At D, it’s Clague vs Maata. I think Clague wins the spot outright and outplays Bjornfot to play opening night. Maata is thrown on waivers to appease fans after a poor preseason by the player and the team. He clears and joins Frk as the token NHL’er on the Reign.

To be honest, I don’t think playing in Kingston is going to help Martin out. I know he wants to go back because of the possibility to compete for the memorial cup with a stacked roster but I’d rather see him either in the Slovak league or in Scandinavia for his development.

Thanks! Can you watch all of the Kings games on the NHL package with VPN? Or just some?

You can watch them all.

Just make sure your VPN is going through an out of market server. I used Vegas once and i guess that was still considered the LA market. I basically would just switch between the Bay Area and Phoenix. You can also use unlocator which is DNS proxy. When the games are broadcast on a national network (previously NBC/NBC Sports - now TNT/ESPN) you'll need to switch to a different country with VPN or use unlocator.

To get more granular, I used Amazon Fire TV with the NHL.tv app, Nord VPN app and had bought a 3 year subscription to Nord VPN for like $100. It works great and I never had problems. I was using unlocator for years before Nord VPN.

Over on the sharks board they are trying to draw comfort from the advanced stats and glossing over how inexperienced our lineup was.

At this point, like yesterday this was more about helping determine who stays up for the next phase of camp. So I’m not too bothered about the actual results, although I would be if I were a Sharks fan. I’m expecting a whole bunch of cuts (based on similar opinions from the various inside guys) and I think we will have some guys that surprisingly go down. The big name prospects will stay up but I have to think Chromiak will hang around and Spence will stick too. Competition for spots is about to crank right up as this group gets much smaller, quickly.
Sounds like I’m gonna be wrong, at least about Chromiak.

Right when I saw group A i thought the same immediately, there's the groups for the back half of group A's forwards/Group B as a whole to beat.

A few points of contention:
- Kingston would have to loan him. They have zero incentive to do so
- many Euro leagues are already underway. Is it better to give him top line minutes against juniors or middle-six minutes where he may get less time/demoted to a junior league
- maybe he prefers getting acclimated to smaller ice than spending half the season readjusting again?
