LMFAO Sharks rolling out all vets at the end, burns hertl bonino etc

honestly i usually dont care because but what a bunch of f***ing clowns not even rolling the young talent, wouldn't be surprised to see Burns-Ferraro with 30 min. Hope they trade Eklund for some washed up vet in an ill advised push for a Cup.

Wonder if he has matured from his junior days. He was a high skilled/low character/defensive mess of a prospect like Anthony DeAngelo.

I'd assume the Sharks played their regular season squad because their prospect base is one of the worst -if not the worst- in the league. And that's including Seattle. Merkley's about the only guy who might make the team and he was pretty mehh last year.
 
Looks like Byfield (72% shot attempt) was behind only Iafallo (80%) in terms of driving play. Obviously it’s only one stat but it shows he’s doing something right. They played with each other quite a bit but not exclusively as the lines got mixed up, as they do (per lakingsinsider).

Over on the sharks board they are trying to draw comfort from the advanced stats and glossing over how inexperienced our lineup was.

At this point, like yesterday this was more about helping determine who stays up for the next phase of camp. So I’m not too bothered about the actual results, although I would be if I were a Sharks fan. I’m expecting a whole bunch of cuts (based on similar opinions from the various inside guys) and I think we will have some guys that surprisingly go down. The big name prospects will stay up but I have to think Chromiak will hang around and Spence will stick too. Competition for spots is about to crank right up as this group gets much smaller, quickly.
 
how has sodergren been playing this pre-season? i never understood what is special with him. he does nothing on the ice.

Wished the Kings had had an opportunity to draft the kid W Eklund.Maybe LA could send Yafallo and Dusty(Coattails) Bottoms for the kid?

For a guy who is coming back from a lost season to a back injury, been good. Big body who has decent hands, he was always a bit of a longshot but for a deep pick he shows some real upside.
