Retired.
I thought he had a few good days recently. What would you make of that?![]()
Sources are telling me that there were signs of the nervous system coming back but it was actually just his lifeless body passing gas.

Just reading between the lines here on the Zibanejad situation. At this point it's pretty clear that Mika died at least 3 weeks ago and attempts to reanimate his body as a 40-goal scoring zombie have thus far been unsuccessful.
The thing is the upcoming season is where I think for the first time he’s coming with a full knowledge of what his game is and how to play it.
I agree. It’s a good time for a lot of these kids. My expectations will be higher than last year and I really look forward to seeing as much success as possible.
Quinn has f***ed around with the D-pairs a bit but Im a bit disappointed that hes more or less staunchly stayed with the same forward units.
Shoe-horning Strome onto the 1st PP unit bothers me the most though.
No political discussion is permitted. Please remember that going forward.
Sorry guys but with all due respect I’d normally agree with this. No one wants to talk politics here. But when a NYR player’s political agenda drives the NY media to discuss how it affects the team we shouldn’t pretend it’s not actually happening. I just posted an article from one of our beat reporters regarding how the Rangers are handling it. That shouldn’t have been deleted from this board.
if political choices by a player affect what the team is doing with him perhaps to the point of potentially trading him it’s silly to think we shouldn’t be allowed to discuss it. Especially when the media is reporting on what the coach thinks about it.
I’d hate to think that posting about What Matt Dumba did over the summer would have been deleted from our boards. That we’d be forced to ignore it if it were KAndre Miller doing so. I’d expect us to support him and discuss it.
that’s very different than just generally arguing over politics.
Political discussion is not permitted on the forums except within the narrowly defined scope of hockey-related matters.
Frustrating they cannot, or will not, stream the scrimmage tonight.
I can only imagine it is the latter. I mean Montreal is streaming there scrimmage on RDS tonight and they have some strict regulations up in montreal like we do in NY.Frustrating they cannot, or will not, stream the scrimmage tonight.

The Site Rules on the matter state;
So do you have a relevant and accurate point that the player’s view and the NYR’s reaction to it falls within that narrow scope? I think there’s a sound argument to be made that that’s the case (but I would also defer to your local NYR Mod team to police that - I am just chipping in)
But when the discussion dovetails off anything to do with the player’s view and the organization’s response to it and starts being about certain events that have recently been unfolding, that is a blatant violation of the site rules and cannot continue.
The issue as I see it is that discussing one typically tends to snowball into discussing the other, whether that is the original poster’s intent or not. Which is also part of the reason that rule is so strict here.
However this all shakes out, thanks for expressing your perspective so civilly. Myself and all the other mods here are volunteers with opinions and feelings of our own (and not all of them related to hockey) - and we simply try to uphold the rules as they are written to the best of our ability.
Mika’s here with me and he’s doing fine.

It's not a travesty, but it's a little disappointing that with the budget the Ranger's have as an organization they can't prop up a nice camera at center ice and have someone do a little commentary for an hour scrimmage. Oh well, the real thing comes back in 4 days!I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't think it's some horrible travesty that the Rangers don't stream practices and scrimmages.

Not a travesty at all. Just would be nice to see how the youngins like Miller, Lafreniere, Barron are doing. Guys who many of us have not seen play much at all and almost zero in a Blueshirt. We are all obviously a little excited for the start of the season that’s all. Would have been nice to been served a little bit of an appetizer.I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't think it's some horrible travesty that the Rangers don't stream practices and scrimmages.
