Waiting to hear some news from practices now seems even more agonizing than waiting for the lockout to be over... just give me something... anything...

gonna have to wait for practices to start before you get updates...

Who's ready for some of this?

I'll take that. Man hes gotta probably the most pumped up guy on the team not named Lundqvist. First time in his career hes on a legit playoff bound team with legit talent around him. Nevermind a Stanley Cup contender. I was watching some of the 2010 Olympics and man was he a beast. Pumped to see Nasher.

Its amazing how he has no fear to go straight to the net and seems to be able to put the puck in with no room to move.
Which is exactly what we needed. A big hulking presence driving to the net without fear, and that actually has the ability to put it in the back of the net on a consistent basis. The Gaborik of 2 seasons ago drove me crazy always driving wide and around the net while losing the puck every single time.

Anyone know the official start of training camp?

nope. won't be announced until the cba is officially ratified. but guess is camps open saturday 7 days before season opens on 19th (don't think there is much chance of starting by 15th for 50 game sched)

The best part may be that those highlights are not all 10 yrs old. Nash is still in his prime and still doing scoring the same way (knock on wood).

A portion of the fanbase is going to be flat out floored with the type of player the Rangers got. Speaking of "surprises" for this season.

Nash seems vicious around the net, kinda like Drury was in his last year in Buffalo.

While I dont think we will find Nash and Gabby on the same line very often the thought of it is just scary. Nash can make things happen on his own, and draws a lot of attention doing it which could make Gaborik absolutly deadly. Cuase its at that brief moment when the opposition looses sight of Gabby that he is most dangerous. He's nowhere in sight, and then you blink and he's between the circles with the puck on his stick..... and then its just too late...

Yup, wet dreams tonight.... :)

I'd love to see it on the pp or ot at least. Extra room with both of them on the ice would just be ridiculous.
