For sure, it'll give you a huge boost and that's the ultimate goal, but winning every single year is not sustainable or realistic, so the more they can milk out in between, they're happy

I'm not saying that's why we have Domi, but a Domi jersey is going to sell more than a Joe Smith or Josef Smithsky jersey

He and our goalie prospects and literally the only assets outside of the NHL I care about.
Haven’t been impressed with Minten and I’m doubting Cowan is NHL material. I really wish he would have shined for us in one of the WJC tournaments.

Cowan played as well as anyone else on Canada this past WJC. The team just wasn’t that good unfortunately

Uggh. Really like Minten, probably played better last camp but he’s still learning. Guys like him can bite you in the ass if you trade too early. Is Laughton actually worth it? Seems pretty meh as a player. if your trading top prospects it better be a bigger swing than that.

I’ve never seen one Domi jersey.
If all the cared about was selling jerseys, wouldn’t constant turnover of players be the best way to maximize that?

Domi is the same player as last year and last few years...

Hes always been a pretty inconsistent player in level of intensity. When hes on, hes able to make thing haplen but when hes off, hes trash...Nothing change

Minten is on the top of my no trade list. He's not going to be an all-star or anything but he's as sure as it gets as an NHL'er. A guaranteed top 3C is a keeper.

I just like his game and would like to see him develop for at least another year.
Big power forward with some grit to his game.
I’d like to hold on to Minten as well but you got to give to get.
Now don’t go thinking I’d include him in a deal to get someone of Laughtons ilk. It would need to be for a bigger impact player or a young player with term.

I wonder if there would be interest in Andreas Englund. He is on waivers right now. A potential upgrade on Timmins with the ability to play the enforcer role.

If he clears given his high salary at 1M, I would try to send a couple of the Leafs non-prospects with contracts like Voit, Kressler or Peksa in exchange for him. The Marlies could use a heavyweight enforcer and it is additional expiring depth for the Leafs and Marlies playoff runs.
